The magnesite pulverizer can refine the magnesium element after the magnesite is pulverized, and can also be used as a refractory material and a compound for the preparation of magnesium. Magnesite Application


(1) Steelmaking

The use of magnesium instead of calcium carbide for desulfurization in iron and steel smelting can reduce the sulfur content in the steel to a lower level, so that the amount of magnesium in this area increases rapidly. In the steelmaking process, the cost of auxiliary materials used in the converter is one of the structural costs of the steelmaking process. In order to reduce the cost of the steelmaking process, magnesite is used instead of light-burning dolomite to make slag, which can achieve the normal furnace protection effect and reduce the cost of auxiliary materials for converter steelmaking.


(2) Architecture

Magnesium material is widely used in today's range, in addition to being used in house construction, it is also involved in other aspects. The reason why magnesite material is so popular in the consumer market is that it is closely related to its excellent performance, exquisite shape and cheap price. As a new type of cementitious material, magnesite material, its product, magnesite product, is a magnesium oxychloride cement product made from magnesite and brine solution. The main varieties of wood substitutes are: box frame, house door and window frame, granary, decorative plywood, etc. If some or all of them are replaced, the savings of high-quality wood can range from hundreds of thousands of M3 to hundreds of millions of M3. It is very beneficial to protect the forest and improve the ecological environment. As a brick and tile substitute, it can be used as garbage channel, activity room, aerator box, corrugated tile, etc. As a metal substitute, it can be used for downspouts, civil chimneys, etc. to replace cast iron pipes, which can also save a lot of metal materials.


(3) Ceramics

The new use of magnesite in ceramics is as alkali-resistant ceramic filler. Because of the magnesite carbonate component, it acts as a flux in the ceramic raw material. Calcium carbonate, the main component of carbonate flux raw materials, mainly plays the role of flux in the ceramic glaze. Especially in the ceramic tiles, limestone, calcite and marble are used, and the dosage is between 5-15%. Used in glazes, it can increase the hardness and wear resistance of the glaze; increase the corrosion resistance of the glaze; reduce the high temperature viscosity of the glaze and increase the gloss of the glaze. Carbonate flux raw materials are widely used in building sanitary ceramic products.


(4) Papermaking

Light burning used in rubber, paper, paint and chemical industry requires the particle size of 100-325 mesh, or even finer, requires Raymond mill or ultra-fine vertical mill for fine grinding and the use of practical and effective chemical reaction process to prepare magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride and other magnesium salts.


Magnesite processing process

The production process of magnesite light calcined powder is to use external combustion rotary kiln calcination, the calcined mineral material is cooled, and then ground to about 155 mesh by a magnesite mill, and then the powder is selected and collected by a powder separator.

Magnesite light burning

After beneficiation of the magnesite, the magnesite is crushed into a mineral material of no more than 20 mm, calcined by an external combustion rotary kiln, and cooled for selection.

Grinding

The light-burned magnesite is ground by a magnesite mill (Raymond mill), and the light-burned magnesite is crushed and ground by the mechanical pressure of the grinding roller and the grinding ring.

Classifying

Hot air is introduced into the magnesite mill (Raymond mill) during the grinding process, and the finely ground powder is blown into the blades of the concentrator, and the fine powder with a particle size of 100 microns can pass through the concentrator. The powder returns to the gap between the grinding roller and the grinding ring for regrinding until the particle size reaches or less than 100 microns.

Collection

The fine powder with a particle size of 100 microns passes through the concentrator and enters the powder collector through the air duct. There is also a pipeline between the magnesite mill and the fan leading to the residual air collector, and the lightly burned magnesite powder in the residual air is also Will be collected, the whole workshop is environmentally friendly and dust-free


Equipment selection

The 155-mesh mineral powder produced in the production process of magnesite light burning powder can use R-type Raymond mill, HC pendulum mill and HLM vertical mill, all of which can reach a fineness of about 150. The selection of that type of magnesite mill is recommended based on the output requirements.
